Well another year is over and the hustle and bustle of Cultivate never disappoints. Cultivate is one of our favourite shows of the year and essentially is reunion that allows us the opportunity to catch up with with customers, friends and colleagues.
What was new this year? So here’s the recap:
Bellpark SkyTrain
We were happy to introduce the new Bellpark SkyTrain at the show this year. The SkyTrain is an innovative new greenhouse transport system that runs on poles that are affixed to the ceiling structure of the greenhouse. This is a customizable and expandable logistics system, that allows growers to transport literally anything, both production and shipping though multiple greenhouses. Mayer PotJet
The PotJet is the latest development in pot dispensing technology from Mayer. The Mayer PotJet uses 2 opposing spools with custom grooves to accurately separate the pots and dispense them one by one onto the Mayer Potting machine.
The Mayer PotJet makes it easy to switch between pot sizes. The system is able to handle 12-40 cm pots and can even work with electrostatically charged pots.
The Mayer PotJet is not only compatible with all Mayer potting machines but also can be adapted to work with other brands.

Visser AutoStix
The AutoStix, just like last year, was very popular. The AutoStix continues to change the industry by providing growers with the ultimate solution to automate the tedious and labor intensive process of sticking cuttings.
This year saw the introduction of Baswell to the AutoStix system. Basewell by Dümmen Orange, are rooted cuttings that are placed directly into the AutoStix strips and shipped directly to growers, ready to plant into the finish container. Basewell cuttings, combined with AutoStix have shown to finish in equal or less time than equivilant rooted cuttings.
Now with rooted and unrooted cuttings, AutoStix provides the essential automation solution option for growers to move their business forward.
DryGair
DryGair is the World leader in dehumidification. DryGair dehumidifiers enable growers to keep the greenhouse insulated and to control the climate conditions inside.
DryGair creates homogeneous conditions which improve the quality (and quantity) of the crops, reduces the need for pesticides and contributes to a greener environment.
